Plot
You start off playing as Chloe, the paranormal investigator who moves to Hadenville to begin her detective agency out of her apartment. Over time (and to be frank, with proper funding) you will be able to add assistants to your team, adventure with them, and uncover the dark secrets of the Haden family, a wealthy, dynastic bloodline for which the city was named.
Chloe's fate will be in your hands. The question is: will you protect her from the darkness, or lead her into the deepest shadows you can find?

Will this game be updated?
Indeed it will. At the moment, I am researching how to deploy a feature I’m unsure about, so this cycle has been a bit slower, but it is actively being worked.
Super excited about it if it works, and if not, the existing content updates will be an expansion on what’s already present.
it pops as a trojan on virustotal. so you may want to look into why.
Just ran it myself, and it’s only being reported by Jiangmin, which is a Chinese AV famous for flagging tons of western software, including incredibly well-known things such as VLC Media Player.
As a footnote, it was reported as safe by Avast, Avira, BitDefender, ClamAV, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Google, Kaspersky, Malwarebytes, Microsoft (I assume Defender), Sophos, Symantec, and those are just some of the well-known sources.
Thanks for the report. If you choose to skip the game, totally understandable, but one Chinese AV flagging it as a “generic Trojan” does not mean it’s dangerous. RenPy is well-known and open source with the ability for others to perform consensus reviews, and my personal .rpy files are contained here as well for such a review.

awsome i figured it was a false considering your other game didint pop but i wouldint feel right not saying anything especially since it could help either you or other people. i for one dont know much about what virustotal uses so i did not know that!

No problem, better safe than sorry, I totally understand.
This game has real promises but is a bit rough right now manly the money is really hard to gain but there's not a lot of ways to spend money so it's fine for now (small note i don't really do camgirl stuff so im looking at the game from that angle) something else to look at is the Closet is really really rare (i only found it 2 times in the 3 hours i played) and i do kind of get it's powerful but still.
I also got a bit confused about the items [Power cord and the thing to see ghosts] and i only found out they where WIP by looking at the change logs in the future you should probably add a disclaimer to stuff like that to reduce confusion so people don't wander around for a hour confused on what to do (Me)
I will give you praise as i never found any bugs in my 3 hours of playing pretty impressive for a sandbox game

Right now game is a pretty decent concept that could be pretty good if expanded upon in following updates. Will def keep an eye on this one
